Sell Digital Photos
PhotoStore allows you to upload unlimited
photos of any size. For each photo you have the
option to add a title, keywords, description,
price, quality and display order. You also have
the option to... select the categories a photo
will display in, select the photographer who
took the photo, assign prints and products that
can be sold with that photo and select other
sizes of the photo to be created when the original
is uploaded. PhotoStore only supports jpeg photos
at this time (jpg, jpe, jpeg).
Your customers can browse your photos and add
them to their carts. When they have the photos
that they would like to purchase they checkout.
After they make payment you are sent an email
with the order details and the order shows up
in the orders area of the manager. The customer
receives an email with a link to a unique download
page for their order. Once they visit the download
page they are able to download the photos that
they purchased. You can also set the download
link to expire after a certain number of days.
The entire process is automatic.
Sell Prints & Products
PhotoStore allows you to sell prints and
other products along with your photos. Setup
global products to sell with each photo or select
only certain products to sell with a particular
photo. Prints and products can be setup to sell
anything you would like. For example "8x10 Glossy", "5x7
Matte", "XL T-Shirt" or "Photo CD". You can also
set shipping costs to each item. If you only
have a certain number of an item you can also
set a quantity. You are responsible for fulfilling
prints and product orders.
Your customers can browse your photos and add
them to their carts. When they have the photos
that they would like to purchase they checkout.

Integrated Shopping Cart
PhotoStore has a built in shopping cart that
allows your customers to add digital photos and
prints/products to their carts. In the cart quantities
for products can be chosen and shipping applied.
The cart automatically totals the order and ties
into 2checkout.com or PayPal for payments. The
cart also ties into a check and money order feature
to allow customers this type of payment.
PayPal, 2Checkout.com, Plug n' Pay, Authorize.net,
Check, Money Order Support
PhotoStore currently supports PayPal, 2checkout.com,
Plug n' Pay, Authorize.net and check & money
order payments to allow your customers a variety
of payment methods. This allows your customers
to use any major credit card, PayPal funds, bank
account, check or money order to pay. You can
choose to turn on or off each of the payment
methods. If you know basic PHP you can also add
other payment gateways.
NEW - Built In Ratings System
Allow your visitors to rate photos. Once they
rate the photo they will see the overall results
of everyones vote.
NEW - Run PhotoStore in Multiple Languages
Allow your visitors to select their preferred
language to view your site in. An English language
file is included that you can translate and use
to create any other languages that you would
like for your site.
NEW - Sell ZIP files
You can now sell any electronic file using
PhotoStore by first zipping it. PhotoStore allows
you to upload, price and sell ZIP files.
NEW - Sell Video files
PhotoStore now allows you to upload video
files for sale. Your visitors can view a sample
by rolling over the thumbnail and also a larger
sample on the details page. You can also provide
a video sample that can be downloaded by your
visitors.
NEW - Built In Lightbox
PhotoStore has a built in lightbox feature
where members can create an unlimited number
of lightboxes. They can also email those lightboxes
to others.
NEW - Email Lightbox To A Friend Option
Once your visitors have a lightbox created
they can then email it to others.
NEW - Hover View
When a thumbnail is hovered over it a hovering
window will popup and display a larger thumbnail
along with other details about the photo. This
feature can be turned on/off in the management
area.
NEW - Tracking Numbers For Shipping
You can add a tracking number to an order
after you have it shipped. This will allow the
customer to see the tracking number and view
the status of the shipping with the mail service
you choose.
NEW - Slideshow Feature
Your visitors can view any category as a slideshow.
The colors for the slideshow window can be customized.
You can change the timing for slideshow. You
also have the option to change the transition
from one photo to the other to either fade or
slide

PhotoStore adds additional security measures
such as disabling the IE image save bar and disabling
right clicking. Also the path or file name to
your images is never given out. Even when a photo
is purchased the download is forced thru a secure
page that does not show the direct path to your
photos.

Dynamic Watermarking
A watermark is automatically applied to all
sample size photos so that your photos are protected.
The watermark is applied dynamically. Meaning
that you can change the watermark at any time
and it automatically updates on each photo without
having to reupload the photos with the old watermark.
The watermark is very easy to change and can
look however you would like. Just replace the
watermark.png file and all your watermarks are
updated.
Create Monthly & Yearly Subscriptions
If you are running your PhotoStore as a stock
photo type site you can give your customers the
choice to signup for yearly or monthly subscriptions
where they can pay one set price to download
unlimited photos. This option can be turned on
or off and configured in the manager area.
Newest Photos Area
PhotoStore automatically generates a newest
photos area where you customers can browse and
purchase the latest photos added to your site.
The newest photos area is automatically generated
based on the time and date the photos were added.
Popular Photos Area
PhotoStore automatically generates a popular
photos area where you customers can browse and
purchase the most popular photos on your site.
The popular photos area is automatically generated
based on the number of times a photo was viewed
by a customer.
Featured Photos Area
PhotoStore automatically displays a featured
photos area on the homepage. 12 photos are randomly
selected for the featured photos area. The number
of photos displayed can easily be changed.
Image Counters
Each image has a counter for how many times
it has been viewed. This counter shows under
the thumbnail of each photo and also next to
each thumbnail in the manager area. Also each
category displays the number of photos in the
category next to the name. You can turn these
features on or off.
Photo Search
Your customers can search for photos by keyword
or phrase. The search will search the title,
description and keywords of a photo. Results
are displayed 12 per page. The number of photos
per page can be changed.
Photographer Photos
Your customers can also browse photos by photographer.
6 featured photographers are displayed on the
homepage with a link to view all photographers
that have photos listed on your site.
Automatically Generated Thumbnails & Sample
Photos
PhotoStore automatically generates thumbnails
and sample size images when you upload the original
photo. You can also configure the size of the
thumbnail and sample size photos that display
on your site.
Styles
PhotoStore comes with 14 different color styles
with more coming soon. These styles use CSS to
change the overall color scheme of your site.
Changing the styles is very each and can be done
in the manager area of PhotoStore. You can also
create your own style so that PhotoStore looks
just how you would like.
Management - General Setup
In the manager's general setup area you can
most settings on your PhotoStore site including
website name, install url, tagline, support email
address and metatags.
Management - Options
In the manager's options area you can:
• Turn on/off the image display and view counters
• Turn on/off the featured news on the homepage
• Turn on/off the selling of digital photo
• Turn on/off the selling of prints and products
• Set the number of photos to be displayed per
page
• Set the number of columns of photos to display
• Set the default price for photos if none is
entered with a photo
• Set the size of the thumbnail photos
• Set the size of the sample photos
• Set the number of days that a customer is allowed
to download the photos that they purchased
Management - Payment Options
In the manager's payment options area you
can:
• Turn on/off check and money order options
• Turn on/off the PayPal checkout method and
add your PayPal account details
• Turn on/off the 2Checkout.com checkout method
and add your 2Checkout account details
• Select the default currency your site operates
in
Management - Subscriptions
In the manager's subscriptions area you can
turn on or off monthly and yearly subscription
options. You can also configure the prices for
each.
Coupon/Discount System
Setup coupons to give your customers a discount.
Create coupons to give a percentage off of the
total purchase, free shipping, no tax, dollar
value off the total purchase and much more.
WYSIWYG Content Editor
In the manager's content area you can edit
most of your website's content using a WYSIWYG
editor. You can also easily add photos and files
to these areas.
Site News Management
In the manager's news area you can add, edit
and delete news articles to post on your site.
You can also select news items to be featured
on the homepage. Each news item can have photos
and files attached to it.
FTP Upload
Using the FTP Upload feature you can batch
upload your files using your favorite FTP client.
This allows you to upload all large batches of
photos at once and add the same details as you
would on a single upload.
Batch Photo Upload
The batch photo uploader lets you upload an
entire batch of photos to your PhotoStore site
directly from your computer using only your web
browser.
IPTC Support
When you upload a photo with IPTC data PhotoStore
will automatically read it and import the title,
description and keywords data to the database.
IPTC data is extra information within a photo
file added by your digital camera or photo editing
software such as Photoshop.
Multiple Sizes
PhotoStore can be configured to automatically
create up to 6 different sizes of a photo from
the original. Each size can have its own price.
