What
are Flash Components?
If you're trying to find easy
ways to enhance your Flash website, you need
to consider Flash Components (sometimes known
as Flash Extensions). They are mini applications
installed into your Flash program which allow
you to add high end functionality to your websites
with simple drag and drop methods. Features
which might otherwise cost you thousands and/or
take weeks to build can be added to your website
in minutes (and for very little money). Blue
Gel Media has spent years testing just about
every Flash Component on the market. We
have done this for simple reasons. We
want to use the easiest and most cost effective
software ourselves.
Since we are in the business of selling templates
to you, we want to make sure that your web building
experience is as smooth as possible. With
that in mind we have selected those Flash Components
and Extensions which we feel are your best choice.

/ Extension FAQ
How do I install a component?
Before installing any component, please make
sure that you are using the latest Macromedia
Extension manager. If you do not have Extension
Manager installed, you may download the latest
version by clicking here.
- From inside Flash go to HELP > MANAGE
EXTENSIONS
- Select whether you are installing for Flash
MX, MX 2004 or Flash 8.
- Choose FILE > "Install Extension".
The extension manager may also be accessed directly
from your program files. You may also choose to
double click on the MXP file that you downloaded.
On a Mac, it's recommended that you place the MXP
file on your desktop and double click on it from
there.
How do I remove a component?
Close Flash. Open the Macromedia Extension Manager
from your program files, click on the Flash
component that you wish to remove and select "Remove
Extension".
Are the components available for Flash
4, 5, MX, MX 2004, 8 and CS3?
Each product is different and unique. You will
find the Flash version information for each product
on their respective product pages. Please ensure
that you check this information carefully to
make sure that the product meets your requirements.
Most products are available for Flash MX, Flash
MX 2004, Flash 8 and Flash CS3.
Will these components work on both PC
and Mac?
Components are, like Macromedia Flash, cross
platform compatible and should work and behave
the same way on either system.
How long does it take to get the product
that I ordered?
In most cases, the download links are available
immediately after your order has been completed.
In some cases, your order may need to be verified
by a human in which case it will take a little
longer.
Why use a support forum and who answers
the questions?
The support forum is very useful for users as
often you will find that someone else has already
asked a similar question, so you can save time
by reading the solution. The support forum is
linked directly to the Flashloaded team of developers
to ensure that you receive an accurate answer
as quickly as possible.
